INTRODUCTION TO STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

$99.00
Limit 10 per order

SEE. WAIT. SHOOT.

SEE
Learn to recognize light, people, shadows, geometry and moments.

WAIT
Learn patience and anticipation. Don't just chase photographs—let them happen.

SHOOT
Make the photograph when all the elements come together.

That feels much more like Monochrome Miami than a conventional technical photography workshop.

And at $99, the customer isn't buying two hours of instruction. They're buying two hours of guided photographic experience, personal feedback, and the confidence to go out and start shooting street photography on their own.

FROM RAW TO MONOCHROME

What You’ll Learn

A 2-Hour Hands-On Photo Walk

Any camera. Any experience level. Just bring your curiosity.

This isn't a classroom workshop. There are no slides, lectures, or sitting behind a desk.

For two hours, we'll hit the streets together and learn by photographing.

Whether you're shooting a Leica, Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Nikon, or simply your smartphone, you'll learn how to recognize photographic opportunities, work with light and shadow, build stronger compositions, photograph people respectfully, and anticipate those fleeting moments that make street photography so exciting.

Before we start walking, I'll help you get your camera ready for the streets.

We'll cover:

  • The basic settings I use for street photography

  • Shutter speed and why it matters

  • Aperture and depth of field

  • ISO and Auto ISO

  • Autofocus vs. manual/zone focusing

  • Exposure compensation

  • How I configure my Leica for quick shooting

  • Smartphone camera settings and techniques

  • Creating a setup that lets you concentrate on seeing, rather than constantly changing settings

The emphasis isn't on memorizing settings.

It's about getting your camera out of the way so you can concentrate on the photograph.

  • LEARNING TO SEE

  • PHOTOGRAPHING PEOPLE

  • COMPOSITION & LAYERING

  • THE STREET PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE

  • REVIEW & TAKEAWAYS

  • Street Photography Gear

We'll finish the walk by talking about what everyone discovered.

I'll answer individual questions and help each participant identify what they should concentrate on as they continue photographing.

You'll leave with:

✓ A basic street photography camera setup
✓ A better understanding of composition
✓ Techniques for photographing strangers
✓ An understanding of layering
✓ Strategies for finding light and shadow
✓ Practical street photography exercises
✓ Hands-on experience photographing in public
✓ My recommended street photography gear list
